This is a 22/19mm Easy Alloy Adjuster. The adjuster is often used on the additional roof and legs poles of the Easy System Alloy frame and is the smallest of the adjusters.

The 22mm adjuster can also found on the legs of the Tall Annexe which are positioned at a 45 degree angle, as well as the back legs of a Porch awning pre 2006. 

When changing the Easy Alloy Adjusters on a frame there are a few tips that you will need to know!

1) Using a flat head screwdriver, gently lift the arrow, which is stamped to each side of the adjuster. This will unlock it from the pole to which it is attached, but still leaving the adjuster on the pole to which it slides over.

2) The adjusters can only be removed from the pole to which they slide over, in the direction of the arrows seen at the side of each adjuster. DO NOT attempt to remove them in the opposite direction.

3) Once the old adjuster has been removed, put the replacement adjuster on in reverse order. You may find the adjuster will slide more smoothly along the pole if the grey slider on top of the adjuster is de-pressed during this operation.

4) Where a pole section has 2 easy alloy adjusters and the larger of the 2 adjusters needs replacing, the smaller of the adjusters will need replacing too. This is because the smaller adjuster will need to be removed first in order to remove the larger adjuster behind it.

NB. It is advised to remove the pole section from the angle it is attached to before attempting to replace any easy alloy adjuster.
